This CD contains 43 tracks of orchestrated, original music for use by creative movement dance teachers, in ballet classes for young students, by childcare professionals, or parents to play in the home!

My Mission: The dire importance of imagination is easily and often forgotten, especially in our day where computers, film, and television occupy such a large amount of our, and our children's, time and minds. 

Visual stimuli infiltrate our lives, and although this can be both educational and exciting, the brain is exercised much differently when reading a book or listening to music.

The universal language of music speaks to people from across the world, breaking social, political and cultural boundaries. Often allowing us to surmount and look beyond our differences, this wonderful power of music is most exhilarating and inspirational. 

With the music on this CD, I hope to inspire children to move freely, dance, mime, think, laugh and play. I have intentionally omitted any singing or vocal guidance on the tracks, such as “hop-and-clap, now-step-left” to create a completely clear palette, allowing the child's imagination to run freely in any direction. 

The track titles are simply guidelines. Feel free to experiment. If this music motivates dance, free movement, or even just puts a smile on a child's face, I would consider this CD worth the effort!
